Bumper repair
I see a set of 64 bumpers on eBay right now for 2700 a piece. Seems a little steep to me. My only problem is while I'm pretty sure my front bumper is a good core my rear has a lot of dings and a crack in it. Can anyone recommend a miracle worker when it comes to repairing and replating bumpers? I also need the exterior post window trim reanodized. All those pieces are in good shape except one where the previous owner pop riveted it on. I figure I can drill out the pop rivet the they can tug it up and anodize over it?

I have a good '64 rear core that can be plated. It has the reverse light openings in it. TriCity will plate it for around $550. With shipping you'll still have less than a grand in it.

What piece has the rivet, I have a couple of extra pieces from my 65.

Just a note about the pictured ebay bumpers for sale for $2,700. The picture of the front bumper was taken by me on a piece of my carpet. I wonder how a vendor can sell a bumper that is not in their possession - and never was. The carpet on which the rear bumper is pictured also looks familiar. If anyone on this forum buys that front bumper, you won't be getting the one pictured. The rear bumper........well....
