Quality alternator restoration suggestions
I have two alternators (one 1100928 and one 1101015) I need to have rebuilt as well as correctly restored cosmetically. Any suggestions on who can do a good job? Thanks!

A few years ago bought a rebuilt correct dated 1015 for my '72 T/A from board member Stellar, very happy with the part & his service. Here's a link to another happy board member's experience:

The 927. Started on the 928 The 927 disassembly was a real bear. Very crusty.

Wow! That doesn't look at all like the crusty core I sent you. Nice work!

Here is the 928. Do you want these sent back or should I wait for the 1015?
|
Looking great! I'll get the 1015 sent next week.

Mark, the alternators look fantastic! Thanks for the quality work and fast turnaround!

My pleasure. I enjoy doing them. Thank you. Someone just sent me 3 Mopar starters from the early 70's to do.

I would love to see some starter resto pics. I might get my early Ram Air starter done.
