Tire and wheel identification
I'm trying to identify the tire and rim that were in the trunk of my 71 Trans Am when I bought the car. Obviously it's not originally from my car since it's a 14 inch tire, but I guess it could be from another model of bird. The tire is in nice shape, and might make a nice spare for someone. I have no use for it, but I have not been able to identify it. I posted this in the suspension forum first, but got no replies. Any help would be appreciated.

Hard to tell if B B are the only codes on it.

Look near the lug holes for more stamped numbers/letters. Please report your findings. Might find a NT.

No other stampings that I could see, however, there are two small dimples near the valve stem. I don't know if those help ID the rim or not. I checked the bolt pattern and it's a 4 3/4 inch.

Removing the tire might reveal more info. stamped on the inside of the rim.

Yea, I considered that, but I don't want to pull the tire off the rim. My reason for trying to ID the rim was to see if I could identify what year/make/model it was from, since I plan to sell it. The tire is in nice shape and would make a nice spare tire for someone.
I have not use for this tire and thought it might make someone a nice original spare. Quote:
