1954 Pontiac back up lamp
 

I think this is what I have here....and need another complete assembly.

Any input is appreciated..

The tail lights in your picture look like 49/50 Chev. But that is not the BU light I remember them using as Chev accessory. I thought they were round. And by 54 Chev had added the BU as part of the tail light assembly. I thought Pontiac had done that also.

I'm looking for a 53-54 PONTIAC back-up light...to fill the hole that's already there....and match the one I've already got..

Attached pics ..are from the 1954 accessory brochure....I am assuming that 53 would be the same.

Thought somebody here might have one....or know a source....I'm watching ebay already..

The parts book [1962 vintage] lists the assembly as 1953-54 except 53 sedan delivery and 54 wagon, and as left and right specific, 928179 for left hand assembly and 928180 for right hand.
The lens and gasket are not side specific. A quick search of "the Tail Light King's " site showed a couple of used assemblies and lenses. http://www.taillightking.com/
