After a long thought and negotiations, I bought it. I don't know how long I can keep it. But I'll take good care of it :bounce:

Great color combo. Nice score!

The Boss 04-23-2018 02:37 PM

Congratulations!

I had a burgundy 4spd RA I once - not as nice as that one though!

Tempest 04-23-2018 03:37 PM

love the white interior.....enjoy

Verdoro 68 04-23-2018 04:15 PM

Good looking car. What are the details?

brians 04-23-2018 05:54 PM

Really like that color combination.

The Boss 04-23-2018 06:00 PM

Originally Nightshade Green (great color also) original heads and manifolds, late 68 SR block, 4:33 Gears.

I'd enjoy it just the way it is.

Verdoro 68 04-23-2018 06:52 PM

Thanks, I missed the original thread. Love Nightshade Green, you don't see it very often. The burgundy is nice too.

Half-Inch Stud 04-23-2018 07:16 PM

I've has the Burgundy 68 in LeMans and GTO. The Great One looks just fine in Black, Burgundy, Verdoro, any dark color will do.

Thanks everyone.
I love taking cars like this and making them better. It's missing the RA pans and air cleaner and the carb. I don't think I can afford the carb.

For those who know how to read these. Can you decipher it? Is there anything interesting about the billing history paper?
Sorry it keeps turning it upside down!

Half-Inch Stud 04-23-2018 09:51 PM

Well yea, it is a P (PON) plant car, and invioce 11-15-1967. Your price is ~$900 more than my price

my PON 68 GTO shows invoice 12-30-1967. Label price $3634.26 Jan delivery ( seems both were Jan 1968)

HO Kenny 04-23-2018 11:34 PM

Thank you. Is it shipped the same dealer it was charged to? And any idea where that is?

Got the original Broadcast, key ink areas are damaged. Is either a WT or WS engine. I'd say NO, std engine.

HO Kenny 04-24-2018 09:13 AM

It's charged to some unknown dealer (205) in MI (zone 7) but doesn't say where it was shipped to. Is that normal?
The lady I bought it from thought it had been raced. I think they all were.

flyingn 04-24-2018 09:29 AM

Great find Kenny! Love it without trim rings too

I think if it didn't go to another dealer, it would just show the 'Charged To' dealer.
(Charged To same as the 'Shipped To' dealer)

:)

If you order a window sticker from Mike Noun, he would probably have the dealer name?

I'd say the dealer name starts with a 'D'?

:)
