Funny about the 682 super cooling rad being cancelled on A, F, G since it was never offered on those cars ever.

As for the bench on the Firebird I wasn’t aware that it had been cancelled at that time. I know that in 69 the Fbird was hard-top only and custom interior only.

Interesting to look at this information and learn new things.
I have had this dealer ordering information for years. Other years: 1967-71.

Also of note: the letter was written to Mr G W Cumberworth of Car Distribution.

Mr Cumberworth was the author of the car "memos" indicating a special build, anything from a fleet of taxis to a run of Super Duty Tempests.

Per Fred Simmonds, the original Pontiac historian:

There were memos written for any non-stock assembly procedure, from taxis to race cars, and everything in between. I never asked him if there was a special form - my hunch is that it was just what it says: a "memo", which Pontiac had letterhead paper for.

I have never seen one - and wouldn't expect that any would have survived. I thoroughly combed the Car Distribution files in 1987, and never saw one, even though there was plenty of good info in the files.

This document was like a cover document for the 1969 dealer ordering information that I have. It was saved by someone at a dealership and I was lucky enough to get a copy for 1969 and 67, 68, 70,& 71.
Very interesting to read.
There sometimes would be a page with a list of people by department to check off to give the information to. Several Names from the list are well known in the Pontiac world now.
Always interested in learning more about how Pontiac built them.
