68 GTO quarter window seal/trim
 

Hi all, first post here.

I have a 68 GTO that is getting a little face lift. The outside seal that goes between the quarter window and the exterior is shot. Attached photo for reference.

I've looked through some of the restoration and re-pop sellers and can't find this piece. Does it come preshaped, or is it sold in a straight length and bent to fit the opening as needed?

Is there a good guide on how to refit the new piece?

Ames ought have it. Only seen Pre-curved. Must insist on "Round" not "Flat" stainless bead for Quality and correctness.

Excellent result when you CAREFULLY feed the jagged tabs during install. Then perfect the curve by hand/mallet banging the shape to get the black rubber edge to flush up with body paint. Screw at each end assures excellence.

Glass channel weatherstrip aka window fuzzies. F230B in the Ames catalog for the set. You definitely get what you pay for with the replacements.
