Yes, I bought SEM paint from TCP Global in California for the vinyl stuff and special mixed aerosol paint from Color-Rite for the metal dash.

Oops...sorry, for some reason, I thought you were asking about 220 code...either way, the folks TCP Global can help you.

it won't be paint for the plastic but a dye. Still aerosol can but dye vs paint.

Technically Kurt, they call it dye but I think it's actually paint for flexible surfaces...that's what I think anyway. By the way, whatever you choose to call it, this is the product I used for the seats and kickpanels, etc. "Color Coat".
http://www.tcpglobal.com/Automotive-...BoCopIQAvD_BwE I called TCP global and gave them my interior code, 220 Dark Turquoise. Ordered it over the phone. Very easy to use straight out of the quart can. The key is to make sure the surface to be colored is clean, clean, clean, of all grease, Armor-All and all that kind of stuff. I also primed it with a flexible-coating primer. I bought it right off the shelf at Advance Auto parts. It's a Dupli-Color aerosol product. All this stuff was painted/dyed ;) with the Color Coat several years ago and it still looks like the day I did it. http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...1&d=1541647956https://contentinfo.autozone.com/zne...CP199/image/4/ |
