MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL

The first half of the vid is in my back yard - rallying was very big in Wales and there were a couple of stages just behind where I live. And believe it or not, a mate and me once cut two Xmas trees from the local forestry and brought them home sat on the seat of our trail bikes! Merry Xmas to all.

Drag Race Guys do not know what they are missing, (if they have had no experience with Rallying, Baja Racing, Hill Climbing, or even Parking Lot Cone Racing like some of our members have done in the past).

Ho Ho Ho, another Christmas present.

A picture of some experimental Turbo manifolds that GM & Smokey Yunick had cast up for a 389 engine in the early 60s.
The manifolds are Center Mount Versions for the Turbos. They mounted T-04 Turbos: 370E and 375E Rajay turbos.

You would think that a casting house would be able to create the manifolds again, but the manifolds were never designed for today's HP levels. Cool design though. The intake side of the engine was a Dual Carter AFB Blow Thru set-up on a MT Crossram Intake.

I owned the manifolds for a while before selling a complete kit to a Pontiac Collector of SD vehicles.
