67 bucket seat trim

I am in the process of restoring my seats and was surprised to fine that the lower seat trim pieces and the seat backs are plastic
In the past all my cars had steel
Does anyone know when they used steel verses plastic for certain years?

Those are either 68 pieces, or reproductions. 66 and 67 were steel (66 didn't have a locking seatback) and the 69 used a relocated release button. So there's 66, 67, 68, and (if I'm not mistaken) 69-72. Don't know about the 64/65, but they're a different style.

They must be from 68
Nothing on this POS is repro. Lol
Nothing was bought for this car in the past 30 years

Well...some one in the last 52 years must have swapped the seats on yah.

I think I have some 67 seat trim in my shop. I'll look tomorrow. It's yours if you want it.

Let me know what you got

i have one pair of lower metal skirts for the 66-7 seats. If you still need, please email me at [email protected] Not rusty

It is not looking good. I went to where the parts were but couldn't find them. I have a couple more places to look but, I may have sold them a while back at the swap meet.

Thanks anyway Phil
Andre hooked me up with 1 set of lowers but eventually I like to put together a whole set for 2 complete seats

Don't give up on me yet. I still have a couple places to look, it just might take a little time. I am trying to get my shop roof fixed before a forecast storm comes in tomorrow night. I got it decked today and hope to shingle it tomorrow.
