How to remove the horn ring from my steering wheel

Hi all,
I’m gonna replace the steering wheel on my 64, but I don’t know how to remove the horn ring- I don’t want to damage it in case someone needs it. Thanks! |
Pop of the center cap, use a thin screwdriver in the slot on the sides. Then remove the large nut on the center shaft . The ring will come right off

Some centers need to be turned CCW a little before popping out.
