Poncho Perfection Web Site

Since I have sent PMs to several people recently, I thought it would be easier to make a post here to simplify things.

We are in the process of moving all of the content from the Poncho Perfection web site over to www.cruisintigers.com. The subscription signup and membership services can be accessed at:

www.cruisintigers.com/membership

Back issues can be accessed in the members-only area. They are being uploaded gradually but all issues back to 2015 will be there.

We are eventually going to move all of the merchandising over to the Tigers website and use www.ponchoperfection.com to forward to cruisintigers.com.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected]. Thanks!

I stopped getting issues a few months ago. Don't know if vaporized or expired. Never got a renewal bill. Wondering.

You can go into your membership profile in the membership section and figure out what your expiration date is. If you didn't get a reminder, chances are that you didn't provide an email address or it wasn't correct.

I went to link you gave, see no membership profile tab, so I contacted Cruisin Tigers via website contact form. I guess see on response. Never went to that site before, so (?)

Here's a screen shot of the web address Don had in his post, showing the membership tab at the top of the page.

Yes I had found that, but no member list or "membership profile".

I can't remember the last time I received a print version Don.

mrennie 01-28-2020 08:25 AM

Me either. Was receiving it then it stopped and can't recall when.

Was hoping you would remind me to renew rather than me miss some issues and have to figure it out LOL...

Okay, this is what I have been suspecting. We have turned over all of our membership and subscription records to the Cruisin' Tigers a year ago but we didn't have complete information on hand to give them for everyone. There were lots of missing email addresses and phone numbers. If your subscription has disappeared without a renewal notice or email, here is what I would like everyone to do:

https://www.cruisintigers.com/member-change-form/

If you don't have your login credentials, you can add your name, phone and email address and they will send them to you.

They will then send you your login credentials and you be able to access your account and renew.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, you can email me at [email protected] and I will find a solution for you.

With the loss of Musclecar Review, Car Craft and so many other titles last month, we encourage you to support the ones left, especially Poncho Perfection, which is the only All-Pontiac magazine out there (no GMC or Oakland coverage just Pontiac). This magazine represents a forward-thinking club that is looking to the future and working hard to preserve the hobby. Thanks!

Don, do you have an idea how long it takes Cruisin Tigers to respond using the method you delineated above? It's been over 48 hours for myself.

My membership also seems to have stopped unnoticed months back. ;(

Thank you,

Steve

I am not sure how long it takes, I thought that it would be an instant thing.

In any event, you can send an email to Membership Chair Tom Campone at [email protected] and he should be able to get you the information you need.

I renewed at Norwalk and got the August issue. Nothing since then.

I get all the emails from the Crusing Tigers and the renewal showed up on my credit card bill several months ago. Last issue I remember getting was in the first quarter of this year.

I got my December copy today. I don't think I'm behind in any. I'm not going to lose any sleep though. It's a good magazine and the payment goes to a good cause. I also pay attention to Don Keefe's posts. I recall a little bit ago him posting that there were printing company issues that are obviously out of his control.

He is not new to the magazine game. I'm sure he has things back on track or will bust heads of those that don't. I have full confidence that he will make everything right because that is what professionals do.

Sometimes some people just need to take a breath.

Eric

Update: I found the October issue here. My wife had put it where I didn't see it.

December issue just showed up yesterday, so I think all is ok.

Thanks for a great mag, Don!

Eric

I wrote them 9 days ago, to try and find out if I fell through crack or expired or (?). I do want to continue support and receive mags.

Don Keefe 02-06-2020 11:15 AM

Send me an email describing your situation and full contact information to me at [email protected] and I will make sure it is delivered to the right person.

bird72 02-06-2020 11:24 AM

Hi Don! It just got clarity! Tom just got back with me. My subscription did expire. It was right before the printing issue, so that is why I thought would resume. No biggie at all, will re-subscribe!

Don Keefe 02-06-2020 05:04 PM

Glad to hear it worked out. We do have back issues, if you are interested in getting what you missed.
