A6 Compressor service port schrader valve sizes?
 

Hey PY - restoring the air on my 63 Grand Prix. Rebuilding the STV vale & the compressor, it needs new schrader valves. Are they universal in size for ac systems? I know they are different than a tire core valve.
where is the best place to get them?

I'm reasonably sure they are the same size as tire core valves, but may have a different seal material for refrigeration oil.

I was in the business for years and we just used the short tire valves.
