Hood springs for 68 400 hood with fiberglass ram air pan
 

Hi Everyone,

I am due for springs for my original 68 400 metal hood with the fiberglass ram air pan.

The last ones I bought a decade ago never lifted the hood up as high as they should have.

Are there different springs for hoods with the ram air pan installed?

What is everyone's experience with new original GM springs vs. aftermarket?
