2K clear coat overspray on windshield

What would be the best method/solvent etc. for removing 2k clearcoat overspray from a windshield.
Thanks.

I would use lacquer paint thinner. This is what u use to clean your spray gun.

overspray

You can use a razor blade first, and then go over it with the thinners.

I'd probably take the approach of using lacquer thinner first to see how much will come off without a razor, then remove the more stubborn stuff with a razor, then do a final cleanup with another pass of lacquer thinner.

NEW razor blade! After you try it dry, spray some glass cleaner on it and try it that way. Let me know which you prefer.

Luckily I have a pack of 100 new blades. Would imagine it would work better with the glass cleaner as lube ... raining right now, so it may be a day or so.

Razor on face or razor on glass...I'm thinking either way some lube is a good thing!

000 steel wool. I use it on glass and brightwork.

I prefer a Clay bar if it’s new glass

I use 0000 steel wool with lacquer thinner.

Where do you get this type of steel wool?

Any hardware store, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

I ended up using the razor blade method, worked great. This over spray was so light you couldn't see it except when the sun hit it at an angle, or at night. If I dragged the blade backwards you could hear a popping noise as it skipped over the dots of overspray .. then scrape forward in the area until the sound goes away.

In the past I've used the super fine steel wool also.
