It's going to go crazy

misterp266 10-29-2020 11:26 AM

Sold for $325.00

The seller was shocked

I was hoping Frank might have bought it so he could make perfect reproductions

misterp266 10-30-2020 10:18 PM

Seems like the cost of reproducing anything these days does not justify the cost of doing it. How much would you pay for a reproduction? How many would also buy one? Like anything, the investment must justify the return.

How many guys with '65-'66 big cars could use a new tray and/or battery hold-down? What with those pieces having 50+ years of acid/rust damage, almost everyone would want one or both.

Redpiston 10-31-2020 03:45 AM

I recall reading somewhere somebody made like 50 battery trays for 65. They sold out quite quickly. I could use one for a 66 mine is about 3/4 there
