Prayer request please. For my 99 Y/O mother.
 

My mother has been admitted to the hospital again, second time this month for low blood cell count, and low platelet count. They are under the impression that her bone marrow is not producing blood as it should, but haven't been able to pin down the cause, whether it's just old age catching up with her, or an infection. The biopsy they have done was inconclusive as they didn't get enough of a sample in their test. Her kidneys are under performing, and she has a case of colitis in the large bowel. All of this has come on rapidly within a couple of weeks.

It looks like I'm going to be making the drive to Phoenix tomorrow, getting there on Sunday to be with her.

The prognosis isn't very good from what the doctors are saying, so I'm going to make the journey out there.

She's had remarkable health up to this point, and has lived independently in an apartment in a assisted facility up until now. I have no idea if God has decided to call her home, or if this is a setback. At 99 Y/O it may be his will.

Anyone that believes in prayer, I would appreciate lifting up her cause to God in her name. My mothers name is Jeanne Yost.

Sounds like what my grandmother had. Bone marrow not producing red blood cells. She was diagnosed with this;

Super rare 20 years ago. She was considered terminal.


Don`t know if your mom has this but, sounds familiar. She lived with this for several years with periodic blood transfusions.


I will pray that God has a place in His house for her. I know He does.
