1964/65 After market gauges
 

If you are using something other than the stock gauges please post a picture.

I am trying to get some ideas . I have a tempest so I am looking to spruce up abit.

Not sure what you are looking for, but I was really bugged about not having a factory oil pressure or temperature gauge. I prefer factory gauges but no such animal was available on the 64. I did bend the rules and put a reproduction factory style tach in our car (it wasn't built with one) and added aftermarket gauges for the oil and temp. I found a machine turned bezel to keep it looking like the GTO dash kind of.

Stewart-Warner brought back their Green Line series of gauges, they were popular in the 1960s and would be era correct for your car. The gauge colors are a reasonable match to the factory dash, too. https://www.stewartwarner.com/products/green-line/

I have the SW Green Line temp and oil pressure gauges.

Since this photo, I've added the Green Line tach on the column (my factory tach is very erratic when it chooses to work).

I used a matte black panel to mount my temp and oil pressure gauges, but really like the engine turned metal one that Rich found.

This is what is mounted under the dash in my GTO.

I was thinking more like Dakota digital or classic instruments .

I have the Dakota Digital gauges.... Off the top of my head,no don't remember which model, but it's the more expensive set...

I put the Dakota Digital's in my wife's '72 Camaro for Mother's Day over a decade ago (you know you're married to the right girl when you can buy car stuff for Mother's Day).

I know this isn't a Pontiac, but it does give you the idea of what this type of digital dash looks like in a real car.

She really liked this much more than the factory dash and it has performed very well over the year's. It's nice having full instrumentation and an in dash tach.

Her car is far from stock, so the change from "original" really didn't matter - '95 Camaro seats, '81 Z28 fender louvers, shaved door handles, almost all chrome/stainless powder coated satin black, shadowed in checkered flag graphics, cowl induction hood, 17" Billet Specialties rims, 4 wheel disc brakes....

I have a set of S/W's in the 2 5/8" size. The little ones I cannot see from any distance. I have the 3 panel holder with AMPS,
WATER TEMPERATURE, AND OIL PRESSURE. I want a vacuum gauge instead of the AMPS.

auto meter gauges(water,oil,volts & tranny temp), factory vacuum gauge and a reproduction tach in the clock space.
