70 Trans Am Correct rear speaker

Hey Guys thanks for all the help so far. Now I am looking for the correct rear speaker for the 1970 Trans Am with AM FM mono radio. Pictures and part numbers would be great. Thanks Steve :car:

Was there a rear speaker in a 1970 without stereo?

Yes. A fader was an option. That said; we did a bunch of dealer installed ones with matching fader control knob behind the tuner knob .6x9 speaker, DS only. some kits had the sound insulation box too. Think they only had one wire on Am radios and 2 on Am Fm.

Here is the factory wiring to the rear seat speaker (replacement) in the '70 Formula...it is an AM/FM mono radio as well. My first car also was a '70 Formula with an AM/FM mono radio with the rear seat speaker option and the speaker had an insulated black cardboard box housing with a clip that slid through a spindly metal bracket that was part of the speaker frame.

The original speaker itself is a 10 ohm with a rectangular shaped magnet.

From my old 1971 Trans Am, factory equipped with a pushbutton AM radio and rear speaker.
