Neat survivor 1969 GTO coupe on ebay..
 

Always interesting to see a intact low mileage survivor car. Looks like faded crystal turquoise with a bench seat, wood wheel and a/c. The parchment interior appears to be very clean and the white body side moldings are certainly unique.

I like that car too. I don't think I have ever seen a crystal turquoise, parchment interior car with a parchment vinyl roof. This looks like a two barrel car. My two barrel 69 also was auto on the column with a bench seat.

It's too bad the body is banged up and rusty.

Is it? Looks like a 4bbl air cleaner with the tiny snorkel, vs the long small one for 2bbls.

Body isn't great but honestly I'd just drive it as-is since it looks like a perfectly presentable car. No reason to go nuts restoring it when you can enjoy it, especially if you're restoring another and want inspiration from time to time.

Nice car and I'd agree on driving as is except for one thing...I'd just have to get rid of the rust holes and that dent on the quarter.... and then, down the rabbit hole I'd go again!
Beautiful color combo and for the bump strip down the side, my first '68 had 'em. I wouldn't add them but I don't hate 'em on these body styles.

Dang, I just noticed...that little z-car next to it looked exactly like mine for a moment...but I see now that it's silver.

After having 2 cars get scrapped by rogue bodymen over simple "just fix the rust holes in the quarters" jobs, I no longer jump down that rabbit hole. If it's a driver, a driver it shall remain!

Oh yeah, I hear you and can understand that. It's the main reason I bought a MIG welder years ago. Paid for itself many, many times over.

Looks to me like a 133,000 mile car by the pedals and history/general wear. Not advertised as a low mile car, either. My '67 had 125,000 miles on it when I bought it in 1983 and was in similar shape. Nice '69 in rare colors and unmessed with. I like it.

Always wonder what might be lurking under vinyl tops on cars with other rust issues.

This car needs some work, but it has a lot going for it. Good options, great color, and it's mostly complete.

I've been communicating with the owner. She has a replacement carb. And he swears the single snorkel is original

My wife had a '67 Cougar with the 289 Hi performance engine which came with a chrome lidded breather. A sticky fingered mechanic swapped it out once and didn't think she'd notice. Maybe something similar happened to this one.

They traded in a 62 Chevy for it

My convertible was originally Crystal Turquoise with parchment interior...
but it has been carousel red since 1973 and black interior since 1978. the pics bring back fond memories of the original color combo. I liked the parchment interior but got tired of trying to keep the
seats clean. Always having to scrub the heat press grooves in the seats with a toothbrush. I disliked the
turquoise paint because if I had to paint just one panel I never could get it to match the rest of the car, especially on the endura bumper. Carousel Red is such a simple formula that it always matches exactly no problem. This summer marks 50 years of owning my GTO......I never planned on keeping it 50 years.......it just sort of happens if you don't want to sell it and you live to be a ripe old age! I bought my car when I was 19. Current mileage is 164,500.
