Always good to get that old nasty crud out of there. I thought your comments about "somebody else being in here" were poignant. Especially on a non frame-off type deal, I've found that it's helpful to expect things to be weird like that.

The nice thing about redoing this stuff and getting new pieces in there, correctly, is you don't typically have to miss with forks or the separator tools. A light smack of the hammer on the knuckle is all it takes.

Curious...are those Ramblers from US Mags? If so, what size/tires on the front are you using?

Yes, US Mags- 18x8 in front 245-45's https://www.summitracing.com/parts/usm-u11118806145
18x9.5's 275-40's rear.

Perfect...thank you. I purchased the exact same with Nitto 555 G2 and was wondering if they would rub at all? Supposed to be guaranteed fit on my 70 GTO with no issues, but you never know.
