Steering Column Interchange
 

I have located a tilt steering column from a 69 Chevelle will it fit into my 70 GTO?
It is local to me and would be convenient.

Yes it will fit, however, make sure the column includes the ignition switch, (not the key cylinder lock mechanism), but the actual switch on the lower portion of the column. The non-tilt column switch won't work with a tilt. Otherwise, all connections will plug right in.
