It’s an IA2 block. Probably around 1500 hp Car is around 4000 lbs. And Standard.

Yes, with E-heads. I know a little about the cam, solid roller. Here’s what’s impressive to me, you hear so many different opinions on solid roller cams not lasting on street, just trying to make people think about this. He’s driving 3200 mile back home. Allot have jumped on the hyd roller cam thing. Look at all the issues they’ve had with hyd roller set up. His build makes you think.

He went 164 at 4025 lbs. 1370 -ish hp.

I’m curious as to what gear he’s running. The GeForce trans is the key to 17 miles per gal. at one time he said 14 miles per gal. Must of made some changes. It allows him to cruise 60 mph at 1700 rpms. It’s 5 speed trans, I think he only uses 4 speeds when racing.. Made mistake 3400 miles back to Canada. He must be home by now probably in the pool, with a cold one..LOL yes very cool his dad was with him the whole.

Rich also won the "most outrageous pass" award, I'm guessing for the 8.77 while banging an H pattern (it's a faceplated T56 6 speed). He's truly a legend on the drag and drive race scene. Bad ass car, bad ass driver/owner/builder.

Humm ? Guy doing video keep saying GeForce and got Rich to repeat and comment leading me to believe it’s 5 speed GeForce. Clutchlees only using clutch to launch, in one of the videos he appeared, to be shifting not using clutch, but hey I could be wrong. Hard to really tell by video. Just wondering why the push GeForce trans so much in all videos.

They raced 2x in my area. I saw a few cars on the road heading back to Bradenton yesterday I didn't see his and I'm sorry I did. I did post a thread in the Lobby about my seeing a few guys that were racing a 86 Trans Am. You'd probably recognize the names. ;)

I've given serious thought to a street solid roller. It's not the mileage that scares me, it's the idle time.

Rear is 3.50 the 6 speed T56 magnum is faceplated 1-4 so technically it can be shifted without the clutch you just have to find a way to unload it, like bouncing off the rev limiter for example.

I’ll bet Rich has allot of idle time driving 3400 miles. The most important thing about a solid roller is keeping up with the lash. Specially if your running aluminum heads, because aluminum heads expands , adjusting valve lash cold, you always want to be .002 tighter on the lash it’s the opposite with iron heads.

Think I’ve had one Chevy after 10,000 mile wipe out a roller, because he never keep on top of the lash. He complained to me that it was noisy.

It's a T56 Magnum built by G-Force, with G-Force innards. It's not clutchless (i.e. with split sliders), it's just faceplated on 1-4 gears. With a power interruption (like lifting), you can shift it without the clutch, but it's not a true clutchless transmission that will shift under power.
