Anyone know how Dave Bischoff at SD Performance is doing? The web site still says ‘Hoping to do business by later this Fall’.

I just updated the thread here in the lobby, concerning Dave and Lisa's last catastrophe...

We'd all like to know, if for nothing else having the reassurance that they are on their feet again and all of us can send them car parts to work on!!!

Anyone have dialogue with Dave with regard to this extreme flooding from endless rain in that region (and into US side of border).

I see weather notices for the region. Roads in and out are closed from Chikiwack. Fraser valley flooded.

Is his shop up and running again?

I checked with Dave Sunday and things are fine at his place.

I hadn't heard if/when he re-opened;
IIRC it was a flood then a fire - both were situations out of his control, and seemed like a terrible bout of bad luck.

And a mudslide ..... Hopefully he was able to relocate.

Does Dave have his new CNC equipment up and running?

Not yet he's been going through and rebuilding his new used machine. The insurance company is still dragging its feet as far as resolving the claim. Dave really wants to relocate before setting up the new shop. We all know locating a new place and sell one's old place is never easy or cheap.
