96 chevy 5.7 vortec timing

I don't know where else to post this ? I HAVE A FOXWELL 630 PRO SCANNER AND MY CAM CRANK CORRELATION IS READING -15 degrees but the thing is I'm not getting a p1345 code, but if I try to add timing I get the code. What is going on?

Timing should be 0 +-2 degrees, could I be a tooth off and if so why is there no 1345 code?sorry for the 2x question

I would say your summation that this thing has jumped a tooth is probably a good place to start. I'm not familiar with the vortec distributor. I would assume the cap is pre-phased, but you may want to check that as well.
