Quik-n-easy roof rack mounts
They were before my time, but has anyone used them much? Curious if they worked okay. I like the idea of a roof rack on my 66 wagon when needed. Just don’t want to permanently affix one to it.
I know Sweet Patina sells their new match design, but they are fairly pricey. Or if you all know of other alternatives I’m all ears. |

Those are steep. We have a couple sets of these cheap ones (under $100) for Drag Week to put slicks on the roof. We had to reinforce the bars with a piece of angle iron to hold the weight but they work pretty good. Different places sell them like ebay and trailer places. universal drip rail mount.

Couldn't tell ya on that. We always stayed with something mentioning older cars. watch the width side to side range since you have a wagon.

I've picked up at least 3 sets over the years off of Craigslist. However prices are all over the place from $700 down. I've never paid more than $100 for a set. And that was for the rowboat carrier version.
They work good with the original bars. Unfortunately Quik-n-Easy sold the clamps separately so you'll find ones with EMT instead of pipe for the cross bars. |
