Black out area in shifting positions

Hey guys. Not sure how to word this as you can tell. Lol
Does anybody make the black out material for automatic transmission in the gear selecting area under the trim plate ? Can’t seem to find anything.

In a three ring notebook a lot of times you'll find a black piece of plastic that scoots the paper on the rings as you closed it: I've used that.

Ha. Good idea.

Can provide a rough sketch of what the blackout material is supposed to look like? I've seen the plastic one for the two speed automatics but never for a Hurst Dual Gate..

AMES definitely sells them and yes it would be easy to fabricate with a template.

I looked in the Ames catalog and they only offer the blackout plate for te two speed shifter. I've never seen one for the His-Hers three speed shifter which is why I asked.

Not for 67-68. For 69-77.

I don't know anything about the dual gates. But, I can't see a plastic slide would work there. This auction looks like it has a seal that would have somehow cover that area.
