What car wash are we using?
 

I tried to just keep up with it using quick detailer but I drive it too much and it gets dirty fast. The hood is covered in red mud dust right now from my neighbor messing in the yard while I was parked in the driveway. I am just using mothers yellow car wash now but if you don’t dry it immediately it water spots. How can I keep this thing clean?

You might consider an inline filter for the hose for your rinse water, or use RO water if you have a sprayer. Either of those should cut way down on the water spot problem.

I use Meguiar's Gold Class car wash.

I use P&S line of products…. Get their bead maker for a coating (cheap & easy to use)… it does dust a lil,but if you use their showtime quick detailer to top BM,it controls dust very well…. And you can coat everything w/BM …. Glass,trim,chrome,etc

Yes, water spots may have more to do with the quality of your tap water than the soap you use. Make sure you're not washing the car in direct sun so it doesn't dry out too fast. As I go around the car washing each section, I keep spraying the entire car with rinse water to keep it all wet until I'm done, then dry the car as quickly as I can.

Keep it in the garage.

I've been using this Wolfgang rinseless wash. Basically, you wash the car one panel at a time. Wipe it down with a wet microfiber cloth then immediately dry and buff with another dry microfiber cloth. Still need to do it in the shade. It cleans very well, but if you have heavy dirt or tar on the bottom half of the car you may need to pre-spray with a detailer or tar remover. It leaves a very nice slick feeling finish and good shine.

Meguires Gold Class wash. Keeping whole car wet and wash in shade. Mothers California Gold wax forever.

Wash your car at dusk when the sun is beginning to set and it cools down. No water spots and plenty of time for wipe down because it's cooler.

I think it’s my water. I try not to wash it in sunlight and it doesn’t matter.

Oh, I forgot to mention that with the rinseless wash, you can do it in your garage or shop at high noon.
