Cylinder camera
 

I need to look inside my Firebird’s cylinders and was wondering if any members had ever used a camera and could recommend one.

I bought one when I accidentally dropped something in a cyc.Might have bought it from Autozone.I just know it works great and has come in handy more times.Tom

I used Mike Garblik's camera when working on the oil passages for Boss Bird. It workied great.

I bought one off Amazon for $30.00 you use your cell phone for the screen. It worked great. Nidage is the brand name.

I’ve got a DEPSTECH brand off Amazon. Works fine. They have several models. It uses your phone also.

I have an OiiWAK. It has it's own monitor and is able to reach up to 11 feet if it was necessary. I think it cost 35 or 40 bucks. I bought it to look in the cylinders of an old tractor in hopes I could avoid tearing it apart. I also used it to look around in the cylinders of my Shovelhead. I consider it an excellent tool for the money.

For comparison purposes of other products, this is a cylinder image on a Snap-On BK-5500 inspection camera. This is a cell phone pic that I took of the Snap-On screen image. It's a '08 Hemi dropped valve seat. I use the camera a lot for brake inspections. Used ones can be had for around $100 on ebay and these cameras are extremely durable. It's 10 yeqrs old, I'm sure newer models have better quality but this one does it's job well.
