Do any of you all have a preference or recommendation relative to an upper radiator hose for the Grand Prix?

I see the Ames catalog shows two, either of which would fit based on the description.

When I installed the tripower I reused the 4 bbl hose that was on there. The fit is OK but wondering if it could be better.

Thanks in advance -

K

I think the shorter one with short straight section is the correct one, but is only needed if the large air cleaner is used. The straight section was used to avoid the large air cleaner snorkel .

That is probably right. There is a 1961 Craftsman note to cut about 1 inch (IIRC) out of the radiator end of the hose that was a big sweeping curve. That moved the hose away from the air cleaner and was to prevent the end of the big air cleaner snorkel from cutting the hose. That little straight section would probably take care of that.
