Saw this on a news feed about 1:45 CDT. Spent many a night in my troubled youth listening to the Allman Brothers Band albums. They made great music together and Betts was a huge part of it.

Damn, had a busy week, and day, come home to a couple dead hens (5th attack in 3weeks), and now In Memory of Forrest Betts.

Beer moment. Okay, he was 80, his kid is a smokin amazing and artistic guitarist. Is gonna be okay.

Sad day for Brothers fans for sure…they’ve always been my favorite band…. Blue Sky was my wife & i’s wedding song… Jamio is the only living original member now… they gave us 45yrs of awesome music … RIP Dickey…
