1971 GTO
1971 GTO with original 400 engine and turbo 400 trans. Lucrene blue with a white vinyl top and blue interior with bucket seats and center console. New carpet and package tray installed many years ago but still look new.. 107,000 miles. Second owner for the last 30 years. 2 repaints as it had the wrong shade of blue on it when I bought it. I bought this for my wife but she has rarely ever driven it so we have decided it needs a new home where it will get more use. Things I have changed on it include the white vinyl top which was a tan color when I bought it. Added rally II wheels, factory chrome valve covers and heavy duty air cleaner. Also installed wheel opening moldings. Recent work includes new fuel pump as it had the wrong one on it. New power steering pump. rebuilt master cylinder for the 4 wheel drum brakes and cleaning the fuel tank. Options include tilt wheel and A/C. Original owners where an elderly couple who bought the car new locally about 10 miles from where it is now. Never abused and has all original panels except for the rear bumper which I had replaced when it was painted in 1995. Could use a little interior work as headliner is starting to come apart and front seats have small tears in them. Rear glass could use to be resealed. Everything works but A/C could use a recharge. No rust ever on this car as it has been here in Western Nevada it's entire life. I can e-mail pics to interested people. $33,000

Pinion seal has been replaced. Also has a new timing set, rebuilt water pump, rebuilt radiator with new core, new motor mounts and trans mount and new rocker panel moldings and new front shocks. Price now $29,000.
Was the lash reset after replacing the pinion seal?
Price drop. Now $21,000.
That’s a fantastic price, too bad I already bought my ‘72. This car looks incredibly clean, someone is going to get a great deal, GLWS!
Thanks. The reason for the price drop is that my wife has been in poor health lately and she is undergoing surgery on Friday so the GTO needs to go as she will never drive it again and I am getting too old to keep these things going when they are not being used.
