Does anyone know what these to wires went to ? Orange with a black tracer , could it be cig lighter power ? Then brown connector with a yellow wire coming out of it ?

The orange with blk stripe may be for the lighter or maybe the buzzer for the key.
Orange with blk is main power connections for a lot of things. May have to follow it and see where it starts.
Is the lighter connection close to that?

Yellow no idea, maybe for light somewhere? Radio?

Edit: just noticed ash tray (I think) so could be for lighter.

Pretty sure that brown wire is the power supply to the AC controls. Was your car equipped with AC? The yellow is part of the AC control harness used from approximately 78-80. The 77 and earlier harness had matching color wires. Just sorted this out while putting a dash together recently.

Not positive on brown, could be correct above regarding blower. Orange and black is likely lighter as mentioned. I’ll see if I can do some digging on the brown with the yellow end

Yellow radio power
Brown heater switch
Orange w black ….lighter

I've referred to the wiring diagrams in the service manuals in the past.

I was shopping the Ames website the other day and stumbled across laminated 11x17 wiring diagrams! I bought a 1975 version. Not sure what other years they have,.
