Rear window track ‘64 GTO post car

Where is a source for the window tracks and mounding on ‘64 GTO post car?

I don't think there is a source.

When I restored my '64 post car, I tried several vendors, including salvage yards with no success. I ended up using the original channels, which had very bad cushioning inside the channels.

This is frustrating, since all the GM A body sedans used this same channel. For the window to be operational, this channel is mandatory.

I also found out that there are differeces between the '64 and '65.

Thanks Dick Boneske!
I was afraid that might be the case!
If I find something I will let you know.

I sent the ones from my 65 post to Restoration Specialties and they restored them. They sent me the material to do the ones on my 63 post too.

On my 64 post coupe, I re-flocked the channels. I bead blasted the channels after cleaning the old flocking, then primed and painted them for protection. Then applied the adhesive and dust the flock into it. I'm assuming it's the same as 65, though it possible they could have changed something. I think the fronts took some kind of cloth material. It was back around 2010 that I did this. I probably got the parts from Ames at the time. I need to go find them. I stopped working on the car shortly after and I just moved it to my new place.

I sent mine to Restoration Specialties. Was very happy with the results.
