Heater fan will not shut off
As soon as I turn the key on the fan is on, fan switch is in the off position.
Any ideas? |
Do we guess what type of Pontiac in the history of production? How about a model, year, a few basic options, some are designed that way.
|
Also good to know: Is the fan running high speed when this occurs?

1980 Firebird Esprit {Yellowbird} 301 with A\C, fan is on low
|
Do you have an actual "OFF" position? Some of the 1970's Pontiacs you could NOT shut off the motor. It was to keep the condensation out of the car.

Normal

Interesting, this is my first Pontiac. Does it shut off after the vehicle has been running for say 5 minutes. I have only run the car for a couple of minutes and have not driven it except to pull it out of the garage, waiting on the appraisal to get insurance.

Ac cars do that
Non ac there’s an issue if it runs |
