Any cars with GM of Canada documents ?
Anybody have any Firebird Formula TA documents from GM of Canada - VVS origin ?
Not the PHS / American version - looking for versions that look like typed out on a basic typewriter. The ones that Zapapora does. unruhjonny has a few of them , and none of his have Engine Unit Numbers / Engine Serial Numbers listed. Trying to see if Anyone has these documents for an Fbody that lists the Engine Number Either way - if you have any of them at all - with or without EUN - please specify : Yes , my documents have the EUN or No , my documents do not have the EUN and Provide the date of the document. Many Thanks ! |
Naturally this is looking for 70-73 Fbody cars.
,,,,,, Or even 69-72 Abody cars. |

Not pertinent, just confirming that he had EUNs for earlier cars.

Good gracious what an amazing 67 RA Goat !
67's are almost a cheat though. We get EUN's from PHS/BHC on those. Still a heart thumper seeing a Tyrol Blue / Parchment RallyOne RamAir 4spd 67 GTO Document WoW ! and Damn ! |
With a 4.33 rear axle!

No EUN on GM of Canada docs, (or PHS) The date of the doc is June 8, 2006. |
My auto trans T/A is a Canadian car. I got the VVS docs for it in December 1997. There is no EUN information. Immediately following the "Engine" line, is the "Dealer" line.

Just checked the GM Canada VVS sheet for the Canadian '71 T/A I used to own ... no EUN on that one, either. It was dated May, 2005.

Thanks for the input from you guys.
Its looking like the only VVS documents with EUN were for cars built at Oshawa Canada plant. Will try to keep that locked in the old memory bank going forward. |
was there maybe a typo in that last post?
Let me fix that for you: Quote:
I don't know what years were shared in that other thread, but the 67 GTO shared in this discussion was not a Canadian built car. |
I wouldn't count the 67 or 68 cars since we get EUN from PHS/BHC , and the Canadian info providing EUN was just a derivative from PMD billing to them.
But technically you are correct. On the other hand , the only unique EUN's that VVS can provide are for cars built at Oshawa. I don't know what years or cars that would cover entirely. |

Baron,
I looked through all my VVS docs and this is the only one that had an engine number. |
And another good thing about the VVS - WT7 on sheet if ordered.
:) |
Thanks Eagle.
An Oshawa built car , restored by Jason. I was speaking with current owner of your former 71 TA last week. He is a very satisfied owner/caretaker. It ain't going nowhere til he kicks a bucket. |

That was a nice car, I probably should have kept it.
