Antique Pontiac question

I'm in the process of joining the Early Times Chapter of POCI to help with my questions about my 1926 Pontiac. In the meantime I'll see if anyone here can help me.
I've read that Pontiac offered a full-synchro 3-speed transmission in 1935. I''m wondering if it might swap into my '26?

Cant help but congrats on getting a first year Pontiac!
Are you a member of the AACA? If not should give it a try. Lots of good guys there and a lot of knowledge.

I've been a POCI member for many years, also GMC trucks chapter. Just waiting now for my Early Times Chapter membership to be processed.

Jack, I thought the thread here about early synchros determined that only 1st was sync'd, and not the higher gears.

That having been said, I assume you have a split head 6 on your '26. It's hard to imagine that a '35 trans would easily bolt up to that.

Just a WAG, of course. These cars are a bit outside my comfort zone (heck, I'm just expanding my horizons earlier than the early '60's as I slowly work through taking my '56 Safari apart - LOL).
