ponchjoe 08-30-2024 01:36 PM

Hmmm, where did you find that pic? More info needed

misterp266 08-30-2024 01:52 PM

DCI. Don Johnston. No other pics so far.

Great idea..... I wish I would've thought of that.

Just has to have implemented modern performance development results into the intake runners, bowl and Chamber.

Way bigger market for either of those than his RAV pieces.

I’m guessing with the slow sales of RAV stuff he decided to branch out into D-port and conventional round-port heads that the majority of us can afford to use.

I thought 48,614 was going to be the number of guest bots currently on the site.

Those golden goose eggs could have already been reaping in about 25 years worth of profits.
This is Great with the factory look that a lot of folks want.
Eddy's ain't for eddybody.

Your CNC makeover program was pretty trick stuff.

turbo69bird 08-31-2024 01:01 AM

Very cool. . I couldn’t believe edlebrock didn’t offer that years ago. So many Pontiac guys like the stock look

694.1 08-31-2024 10:08 PM

Baron Von Zeppelin 08-31-2024 10:33 PM

Yes , aluminum .

GOAT WHORE 09-01-2024 01:26 AM

320 cfm as cast from what I heard.

1965gp 09-01-2024 12:44 PM

Yea these will definitely sell

PAUL K 09-01-2024 01:55 PM

A lot of folks express interest in these heads.... I'm curious at what price point does your interest wane?

$3200-3400/pr ready to bolt-on

Would love to see a pic of the exhaust side view of the roundport version that Don will be offering. Hope the round port castings have the trough area above the center exhaust port of the head.
-with CNC machining of the chambers, I'm betting more than one sized chamber version of the head could be offered. With the right outer appearance I'd def consider a pair or two.

Baron Von Zeppelin 09-01-2024 09:47 PM

Speedmaster Black Friday price range would work for me.
Doubt I would go 3k for a pair. Or any other pair.

Baron Von Zeppelin 09-02-2024 01:40 AM

If the price works out to be comfortable on the D-Ports I could be in for 3 sets - eventually.
Would have to grind off the 48 and stamp them with 77 , 093 , 670 and call them over the counter service replacements.

I'd sell my factory 614's and buy these if it were a good financial gain in my favor.

PAUL K 09-02-2024 12:38 PM

It would be easy to offer the heads with different casting numbers. They would have to wait for the next batch to be cast but I think that wouldn't be an issue with most.
