Ram Air 1 or II 68 GTO on bat ?
|
06/21 on the build sheet I belive would make it a II not a I W96 heads not RA heads but I don’t know RaII that well
|
The build sheet also shows the ZL code axle 4:33 gear. I guess could be either R/A I or II

Definitely a RAII
Kind of torn on this and wish it was a std GTO modified such as this one. As a RAII car, it has value BUT how much does being a RAII car mean in it's current condition? (Granted it is already at 40K so.....) Almost would like to see whomever purchase this put everything in another body and restore this one to a full RAII. |
Yes it is a RA II per billing history card with a 7 in box 34. Additionally the build date is after the early May production start for RAII.
I have a RA II 4 speed and have been collecting/installing the missing parts. Those parts are out there but very expensive. In my opinion a car is always as it was "factory born". How correct or original it is, or needs to be, will affect market value. The way I look at it is to add up all the parts/work that needs to be done to make it correct then subtract that from the market value of a correctly restored car. That should be about what the car is worth (in my opinion). Mark |
