Decal source?
 

I have a new to me '78 TA and I can't find the hood bird decal on any sites. It looks like a factory bird but has black center and red flames (white car)

That particular hood bird lacks the inset silver areas like the original. Many years ago, had a local friend who sourced & had that exact same Bird installed after replacing the hood on his '77 due to a bad hailstorm. At the time, mid 80's, he bought that really affordable but incorrect replacement hood bird from a company named Mainstream. For the correct hood Bird, I'd check with Ralph @ Stencils &'Stripes Unlimited.

That is not the correct decal for a white car, will have to have that custom made if thats what you want... Im sure you know but the correct factory bird looks very similar but had charcoal color in it with a black center bird, looks better than that one IMO & is correct for the car.

I have used Phoenix graphics many times for these decals & they are excellent quality, bets prices are usually at summit/jegs vs direct from phoenix or other pontiac/firebird sellers.

I dealt with the owner of PG and he sent me the wrong kit. So check what you buy off them.
