Steve Morris Doing Pontiac Heads
 
I was recently watching a show on YouTube and they took a tour of Steve Morris' shop. During the tour he mentioned that he's doing Pontiac heads now. I didn't see them listed on his website so I am guessing that he's doing machine work for someone else who retails them. He did not go into a lot of detail so it left me wondering who he is doing work for. Perhaps Butler, KRE, or DCI?

Does anyone have any additional information?

Yes, he's been doing them for a while. Great product, much better than anything you will get from the guys that sell the most "stroker kits". ;)

Which Heads Is He Working With
 
Hi Paul,

Do you know which heads he is doing or any specs on the finished product? Curious if he is only doing custom work or if he has a developed program for a certain head.

Great to know his services are available to us Pontiac guys.

Steve Morris is contracted to do the CNC porting for the guy selling the heads. The program is owned by the guy selling the heads.... Not Steve Morris

If anyone is interested, I was watching an episode of Street Racing Channel on YouTube when they went to visit Steve's shop. That is when he mentioned doing Pontiac, and I believe Oldsmobile heads.

How old is the video? My guess is the wait time is quite long!!

The video is very recent. It was from the end of August if I remember correctly. Again, very little info given in the video. Just a mention of him doing them.

I remember Steve had Richard's boosted Kaufman on the dyno at one point...I guess my leave of absence from here caused me to miss some things...

I don't think it's against any forum rules.

There are three programs available all based on the Edelbrock RPM head. One is a very efficient 330 plus cfm recommended for combinations up to 700 horsepower. A 350 plus cfm which is recommended for higher horsepower NA builds and max-effort boosted builds. A wide-port 410 plus cfm program which is recommended for 1k plus horsepower NA engines or serious effort nitrous build. Also offered is a 460 cfm program for Hi-ports.

I doubt it is Jeff, he has plenty of CNC machines running all the time

How is it possible to get 460 out of hi-ports?

Marcella got 462. Some here tried to say it was not true.
If he could do it, Morris and co can do it.
This is all speculation, but maybe S. Brown and Marcella are involved ?
