Correct date-coded V belts for '63?
 

Hi, all...

I'm trying to locate correct (wrapped) PS and Alt belts for my '63 (non-AC) 389. Quanta (quantaproducts.com) has listings for '64 GTO, etc., but these are apparently different from '63 (not to mention the lack of correct date codes). They have some Chevy belts which are close in size, but not quite (width differences).

Setting aside the functional superiority of today's cogged belts (I have current Gates belts, now), I'm trying to source period correct belts.

Any suggestions?

Send me a PM. A good friend of mine makes made to order correct date coded belts for concours type restorations. But he is not a member here and mostly stays off the internet. He also makes date coded radiator hoses. Just a hobby for him, not a full time business.
