Hopefully, a solid new owner takes the track even further. Lots of old memories there.

Picture awaiting entry circa 1982 - 1983. A young ~ 17 yr old than.

Grew up not far away from there. Never had a chance to go, but a close friend in high school used to race his 72 Mustang convertible there at the High School Drags.

I hope they keep it open.

Thanks for posting!

I also have a lot of good memories from racing there, both the normal Bracket races on Saturday's and Sundays, along with track rentals with the Royal Club and being runner up at the SLP Firhawk/Camaro SS weekend. I am glad the current owners put the time effort and money into upgrading it. Hopefully the next owners will continue the work! It may be time to buy a couple of lottery tickets.

Jeff, by any chance did you go to Ferris State back in the 80's? I remember knowing a Jeff from Belleville. Memories are hazy, tho. Long shot, but the world is sometimes smaller than we think.

Yes, Jeff, those were great times at Milan with the Royal club on our track rentals. It was especially fun to be able to have my 2 kids out there with me racing their cars also.

Sorry no I went to Central Michigan, and I was originally from Saginaw
