12 bolt I.D. question.

Hi all, I’ve got a 12 bolt posi rear.
XT K 057 E under my 65 LeMans.
That would be a 3.07 posi out of a 1970 Grand Prix, correct?
I’m thinking of swapping rears over the winter. Would this rear be of any more value to a Grand Prix person as compared to the general hot rod guy?
What are the differences? I think it uses a different u joint than the Chevys do. Any thoughts on value would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Murf

Canada McKinnon mfd XT code 12-bolt was used on 1970-72 A-G body with 455 engines.

Thanks Kent, do you know what the differences are between the McKinnon and a Chevy rear?

Thanks!

I'd be interested in purchasing it Murf.

Difference is cosmetic, along with different backing plates (no spotwelded on flanges), 3R pinion yoke, & slightly different axles (slightly larger diam centering ring on the axle).
