Lots of good things - but one thing I never understand is why so many early 2nd gens have incorrect outer rear spoiler ends (longer later model ones).

What the heck happened to cause them to be replaced I always wonder!

$10 pictures of a 100k car
He's gonna need to hire a photographer to get hits from out of town.

The wrong spoiler ends on a car that was built with a rear spoiler tells me there is more going on here. A resto or major repair with considerable parts scrounging. Those spoiler ends did not just fall off. They were wrecked or parted out at some point.

The original intake, carb, distributor, alternator, starter, ect are missing too.

Says numbers match.

No fender braces, nor holes to bolt them in. Both fenders were replaced.

If anything is original it is the fenders.

Not sure it's worth 100k but what I can see looks pretty good. Of course, there's a lot that can't be seen in the provided pics.

If the price was more realistic I'd go check it out. Not going to waste my time at that number.

On those rear spoiler ends,...one word why they often got changed. CRACKS!! Many preferred to replace with new GM Service Replacement parts which for many years were the later '74 to '78 parts. So many owners didn't know the difference until they received their parts back from the paint shop and then went to install them. Oops!!

No braces in 1970? That’s a 1973 thing.

Looks like the shorter flat correct ends to me but hard to tell the photos are low quality.

The Car is a 1970 model. The fenders are correct and appear to be original and there are NOT fender braces because there not supposed to be any. The core support appears to be correct also for the same reason.

That yellow console is..........uh............interesting!!

And the gray weltings on the flares/spoilers. I'm speechless. (probably a good thing)

tdavidl 01-02-2025 06:18 PM

at least the spoiler end caps appear correct :-)

Right ... pretty bad. The listing says the interior is "tan", but "tan" is not a factory color name, so presumably it left the factory either Saddle or Sandalwood. And then got incorrectly restored with a mish-mash of different colored parts. Would be nice to see the trim tag.

Baron Von Zeppelin 01-02-2025 10:11 PM

The dash pad resembles a chocolate brown interior.
But it could be a swapped item too.
79k asking price must be a typo
