WTB 72 Front Speaker Wire
I'm looking for the wire and connector that connect to the front speaker wire. It appears that the end of the connector is plugged into by the power connector?
|
Factory AM radio?
|
It is a factory AM
|
Does the speaker currently have a single green/blk wire or two wires, green/black and black? Or no wires at all?
|
Right now it's just a single green coming off of it. The previous owner kind of hacked up the wiring

From the 72 service manual. Which part do you need? The Connector?

Yeah I need the speaker connector with the wire that runs to the speaker. I have the one that runs to the instrument wiring harness.

I'll take a look in my stash. I'll get back to you.

I already had the connector for my radio, but you can find them on eBay.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/395374874354 My low mileage Formula had a bad speaker and I had replaced it. I had to make my own wire by using 24" of 18 AWG wire and a Packard 56 female terminal. |
I don't have the correct plug. IIRC 69-72 A body radios had a different plug. not shared with Firebird or B bodies.
Here is another ebay source. You can contact him for what you are looking for. https://www.ebay.com/itm/25543275836...wAAOSwf49iLQhj You can also contact Scott Thelander. He may have the correct plug and is a member here. |
