Tach signal
 

I have the Holley Super Sniper with the hyperspark coil and MSD distributor . I'm receiving a tach signal to the 3.5 monitor, but the instructions indicate I should be able to receive a signal from the dark brown wire for an external tach. There is no signal even after installing the MSD tach adapter. Any recommendations where I can find a signal for the hood tach?
