Can someone tell me if when you buy a new lifter if its suppose to measure .842 or .841?

Should be .842" I think some SBC are .841" which some may pass as Pontiac?

I bought a set of Bam lifters and there measuring .8411. my bore clearances are coming up big so i guess i need to have them checked... thanks John..
