Their “Classic Reproductions” (“CR”) branded parts are US made stampings of great quality. Their search function isn’t the best. Just use “GM A Body” and year instead of model.

1 pc trunk or 3 pc?

That's a good question. Should I get three sections or a one piece? Also if the braces are solid can I just replace the panel(s) and leave the braces in? Thanks

What car? If an A body, I used the 3 piece trunk and it worked out well.

This is a 67 LeMans. Has anyone used the Ames sheet metal?

Where did you get your panels from?

It has been several years but I believe I got the 3 piece kit from Goodmark.

Classic Reproductions does not provide telephone service and they don't answer emails. Pluss, they don't list anything for a Pontiac. No way I would take a chance getting something for a chevy or who know what. Poor customer service like this I stay far away from.

They are the manufacturer of the stampings and sales of single pieces to somebody like you or I must mean nothing to them. I think that’s why they’re online only. I’ve seen their stampings show up in pics on sites like Ames and Jegs/Summit… who they must find time to deal with. Unfortunately those resellers never list the manufacturer of those and try to pass them off as their own.

It might sound like horrible customer service but I get where they’re coming from and still happily purchase from them to save $$$ by purchasing direct. Their shipping is usually ridiculously cheap too.

Not sure about your year but for my ‘68 the CR trunk floor stampings were the only ones that transitioned further up into the “shelf” area which placed me in an easier transition area to weld in place. I also liked the more accurate detail they had in the stampings.

Sorry, not intending this to be a sales pitch for them so please do whatever floats your boat from a customer service standpoint. I’m just sold on their offerings after ordering probably close to 25 various Pontiac/Chevy/Mopar panels from them over the past 4-5yrs (some replacing AMD, Dynacorn, Goodmark [post LKQ acquisition], and Sherman).

CR branded Pontiac listings below… like I said their search function is horrible. Too many words you get nothing, too few you get 1,250 results.

Buy sections if you’re not already planning on taking a quarter off, have access from below with the body off the frame, or have good original metal you can leave and only need specific repair areas. In thirds, the entire trunk floor can be usually be replaced through the trunk opening without sectioning the panels further.

If your existing body to frame rail braces are good you can leave them and just drill out your spot welds from the top of the trunk floor. Keep in mind you’ll also have to either replace or reuse your existing fuel tank mounting braces. They are not heavy gauge like the body to frame braces so you’ll either have to grind out the spot welds from the trunk side you’re replacing, or you can drill them out and use the holes you created in the braces to plug weld from the underside up.

Just an idea - since you are also in NC - I am in Charlotte and I have a rust free original trunk out of a 70 LeMans. Can't get any better fit that that. I cut it out myself, is complete with all the braces and supports.

Tim...Be advised that the Ames(and probably all available "67" full trunk pans) are for 66. Not that big of a deal, however, you will need to reuse your trunk drop downs as the available aftermarket ones are for 66. These are necessary to get the proper shape to the rear of the quarter panel correct as the 66 and 67 are different.

I bought a three piece trunk pan from Classic 2 Current Fabrications. These come from a company by the name of CHL in Taiwan. I requested the pieces for a 67 Pontiac LeMans. What I got was for 64-67 Chevelle/BOP. It came with the braces so I went ahead and removed the braces along with all the rusty metal. These panels DO NOT FIT. The braces fit correct but not the panels. I have spent so many hours trying the get the right and left sections to fit up. The center section would fit with some serious bending of the metal but the side panels are not correct. I am very unhappy with these. I can use the center section but the others are going in the trash can. Thanks. The three piece sections that Ames sells are for 64-67 also so I think they might be the same as what I have. Ames also sells a complete one piece trunk pan for a 66-67 that includes all the braces which I have already for $699. Does anyone know where I can a get trunk pan or panels that fit a 67 Pontiac LeMans. Thanks

I am pretty sure the 70 is quite different than the 67 but thanks for the offer. If this came off a 67 I would over there picking it up tomorrow.

I think the drop downs have already been removed. I can't be the only one who ever installed a new trunk floor in a 67 LeMans/GTO.
