whats the power potential
 

what kinda power could this make..

studded 2 bolt, ross flat tops, eagle h beams balance to cast crank. 310cfm roundports with 78cc chambers 713lun hr cam and an 871 on e85.

this isnt the 406 i was planning, and a long ways from the 434 i started at. with all those parts back on the shelf its either this 406, or the forged 467, with a set of 96cc roundports and a 260s @ 50 solid roller and the same blower. part of me thinks the 406 is better even though its a cast crank.

most of my money is going to the car itself right now, my 65 gto, 429 geared, backhalved ladder bar, 4 speed car.

ive even considered going N/A with the 467 and assembling the 406 as a street build for something else until i can 1, finish the rest of the car, 2 find a machine shop that can get parts done quicker than 18 months or more

Myself I would think that 700+ should be no problem?

700 is actually good for me, im just curious if the 406 can get there.

i mean 700 on a car ive not drove before is probably plenty until i can go bigger

as for getting it running no, me an my son had started swapping frames, new backhalve, suspension...etc etc, finished the major part of that then stopped a bit. last year i bit the bullet and had the cage put in, then brought it home and finshed the rest of the metal work. ive been the last 8 months doing bodywork, blocking and priming.now everything is painted except the exterior. probably wont paint til fall now im trying to finish up a couple motors for it while i wait. the smart thing would be to build the ia2 block i got for it, but i think these smaller builds is plenty for now.

ladder bar car, 4 29 gears . 29x18.5 slicks and a jerico 4 speed. hopefully itll move out...the sig pic is its current state, just finished priming the bumpers yesterday
